This policy explains how Recital Records Ltd ("Recital", "we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you visit recitalrecords.co.uk, contact us, work with us, or use any app or service we publish, including apps distributed through the Apple App Store.

Who we are

Recital Records Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described here. Registered address: 32 Merchant Taylors Almshouses, Brandram Road, London SE13 5RX, United Kingdom. Company number: 15864591. For anything about your data, email tom@recitalrecords.co.uk.

Data we collect

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends your IP address to Google when the page loads.

How we use your data

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Legal bases

Under UK GDPR we rely on: performing a contract with you; our legitimate interests in running and improving our business, where these are not overridden by your rights; your consent, where we ask for it (you can withdraw it at any time); and compliance with legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers who help us operate, such as hosting, email, payment and customer support providers, and only under contracts that require them to protect it. We may also disclose data where the law requires it. If any data is transferred outside the UK, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months after our last contact, client and billing records for six years to meet tax requirements, and app account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete an app account, we delete or anonymise the associated personal data within 30 days, unless we must keep it by law.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, and you can object to how we use it. Email tom@recitalrecords.co.uk and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

Our website and services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and reputable providers to protect your data. No system is completely secure, so please contact us straight away if you think your data has been put at risk.

Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page and update the date above. Where a change is significant, we will tell app users in the app or by email.
